It's been a busy three weeks since Tansy Bloom, Monster Hunter was released! Here's a little round-up of what's been going on ...
Firstly, Tansy's arrival was announced via a lovely article in The Bookseller, plus featured spots in the Midas and DHH Literary Agency news round-ups. There were also publication day features at Jaffareadstoo and The Pewter Wolf Reads (thank you, Jo and Andrew!). Tansy then received her very first review, from Karen Slammon at Writing.ie, who said: "a brilliant story weaving a modern day setting with the historical facts and folklore of Norfolk ... as debut novels go, I can't wait to read what comes next from L. J. Weller". Thank you, Karen, for such a wonderful first review!
Since then, many more reviews of Tansy Bloom, Monster Hunter have been shared on Audible, Amazon and Goodreads, and via social media. A huge thank you to everyone who has downloaded and listened to Tansy Bloom so far, and to everybody who has taken the time to leave a rating and/or a review! Earlier this week, I was delighted to be invited onto BBC Radio Norfolk's Breakfast Show to talk about all things Tansy Bloom, Monster Hunter. Thanks so much to Paul Moseley, Chris Goreham and the BBC Norfolk team for helping to spread the word about Tansy Bloom! If you missed my Breakfast Show chat and you'd like to listen, it has now been 'clipped' and is available (complete with spooky background music) via BBC Sounds!
Finally, over the past few weeks, I've been thrilled to watch Tansy Bloom, Monster Hunter begin to climb the Audible charts, reaching highs of #2 on the Audible Plus science fiction and fantasy chart in the UK and #4 on the same chart in the US! Thank you so much to everybody who has supported me and Tansy Bloom!
